The essential, obviously

While it all started in Martinique, I only understood its true meaning many years later.

From childhood, I always had sensitive skin, prone to rashes, a source of discomfort and misunderstanding.

I remember a summer in Martinique, the land of my origins, where I discovered a skincare practice I've never forgotten. In the family garden grew Cassia alata, a plant traditionally used to care for fragile skin. Prepared by my parents, it brought a soothing relief that deeply marked me.

Years passed. Like many, I turned to increasingly sophisticated solutions, often at the expense of simplicity. This memory remained in the background, until the day it became an undeniable truth again.

I then understood that returning to basics didn't mean going backward. It meant creating differently: with carefully selected ingredients and an approach guided by gentleness rather than accumulation.

It was from this conviction that Kassia Éclat was born.
